Education
I earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Concepcion in Chile. After that, I earned an MSc from the Universite Laval in Quebec. I can currently a Ph.D. candidate at UBC Okanagan.
Experience
I have served as a professional University Lecturer for ten years in the fields of operations management and optimization. I have also acted as a Teaching Assistant at the Universite de Montreal and UBC in statistics and computer modeling. I am comfortable teaching a broad array of STEM subjects, including statistics, biostatistics, and physics. All of these topics are cumulative, and I have no problem backtracking to "building block" concepts to increase your understanding of the material you're currently studying. I am also fluent in French and Spanish and can help students learn either language. I find that the best way to study a language is to completely immerse yourself in it, so I may challenge you to conduct entire sessions in the language you're learning to improve your understanding.
